Overview:
Online Operations Associates are on the front-line in ensuring that every member of the Community adheres to Policies and Terms of Use. You will play an important role in the success of the company through evaluating content escalated to them by the user community and quickly analyzing that content for potential abuse. In addition, you will be expected to perform other key Enforcement functions, from contributing to spam fighting efforts to collaborating with other OSO team members to drive step improvements in the team's processes and tools.
Role:
- Review user-reported content and assess for policy compliance.
- Approve or disapprove accounts based on program criteria.
- Monitor major violators.
- Provide excellent customer service to users.
Requirements:
- BA/BSc degree or equivalent with a strong academic record.
- Knowledge of and familiarity with YouTube and Google.
- Active user of internet and online applications (YouTube videos, GMail, etc).
- Strong knowledge of current events.
- Demonstrated capacity for critical thinking and analysis.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong work ethic, with the ability to work well both independently and within the context of a larger team-oriented environment.
- Must be able to work weekends.
- Candidates with additional languages are desired.
Language Requirements:
- Fluent English (written & verbal)
- Fluent German AND/OR Russian (written & verbal)
- Other European Languages will be considered
